Travel with me! Kayaking in the Monterey bay! Sea Otter following me. Really cute :)

Hello everyone, today I will be showing you my trip kayaking around the Monterey Bay. The name of the place where I rented the Kayaks is called Monterey Bay Kayaks. There are two locations one in Moss Landing which I have also been to and is also just as fun and the one in Monterey by Fisherman's Wharf. This was my first time coming kayaking out in the Monterey Bay and it was an amazing experience, both me and my girlfriend went and this is not something she would normally do and yet we had a great time.

We started looking at the information they offer about the Monterey Bay Marine Sanctuary. We wanted to be ready for anything. They offer a lot of great tips and advice. The map was a great tool because it tells you all the really cool areas you can paddle by and check out. It also gives you great information about sea otters and other great facts on how to keep our oceans safe and clean.

These are the kayaks we got to choose from. They give you a wet suit and a jacket and a kayak all for $35. You get to ride to rent the stuff out until 6 or 7pm.

As soon as they give us our instructions and teach us how to paddle and use the kayaks we were finally off!!!!!

When we went kayaking we did see a lot of sea otter just relaxing and eating. We tried to keep at least 50 feet away from them to not disturb them but they were really curious and playful. I tried capturing a lot more pictures but it was difficult out in the kayaks.

The best part about this trip was being able to go kayak right outside by work. Its called Chart House Restaurant and its located right on the Monterey Bay and the view from inside looking out its beautiful. It was a great feeling being able to see my restaurant from outside for once.

At the end of the trip heading back I noticed we even had a cute curious friend following us home, this really made my trip, he followed us up close to the shore. In a way i felt like he was guiding us home making sure we make it safely :). I have a video of seal following us home and being playful but do not know how to upload it on here.

I really enjoyed this trip to Monterey Bay Kayaks and i highly recommend it especially if it is your first time, it will be a great experience trust me!!
