Travel Adventures: Trip to Edirne, Turkey
It was great to finally visit Edirne. I have heard so many great stories about it but never visited it until now. To be honest, I liked it a lot. The architecture is amazing. The mosques are just emblematic for the skyline like every other Turkish city.
The food is unique. Especially their sweets, you have a vast amount of choice... The city is located between 3 country borders and is full of different cultures mixed into one whole thing! It's very special.
Thankfully, the weather was great and I managed to get a good walk around the city. Generally, people seemed nice and friendly although everyone seemed to be in a rush...
Just as I was going towards my hotel I met that old good man selling tomatoes on the street. Again, it's so special to see the different cultures mixed like that. You should give it a chance sometime if you have the chance! :)
