I spent two weeks in Hanoi, visited Halong Bay and up into Sapa as well. Its a beautiful country. The visit to Ho Chi Minh's mausoleum was very intimidating, yet very unforgettable.
That's about how long we were there. Did you go to their war museum also? It was strange going there as it's oriented their way. They call the war the "American War" and everything in the museum is pro-Vietnam as you would expect. It was very interesting. Thanks for reading and commenting @scooter77
