Schloss (Castle) Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau
Last week we travelled to Bavaria more specifically to the southern region called Allgäu. The Allgäu is a mountaineous region mostly known for its castles such as the Neuschwanstein castle aswell as the Hohenschwangau Castle.
We didn't visit the castles but they even looked beautiful from far away. It was very enjoyable to take a walk through the woods and around the two castles.
We decided to take a rather uncommon trail because most of the tourists wanted to visit the castles and we prefer to see the nature rather than going to the crowded places.
Because of our decision we also walked around the marvellous Alpsee. At one spot you could see both castles, which just looked overwhelming.
