first I need to punish my liver:

MEANING:

A) Switching to those plastic glasses from glass ones throws off depth perception and the barkeep wisely erred on the side of caution,

B) The bartender was generously distracted by the cash tip in my hand,

C) Math is hard,

or

D) Working at an airport can be tough on your hearing, and saying:

"A single scotch; neat, please"

Can be misconstrued as:

"A third of the bottle, my good man!"

The gentleman behind the bar was very kind to include that red implement there, along with my beverage.

Presumably so that when done with said beverage, I could use the red straw by holding it out in front of me, like a tightrope walker, to maintain my balance.

The scene involves a chainsaw and a deal gone wrong, and includes a white, powdery, (Gluten-free!) all natural product that is currently serving to destabilize Latin America.

The artist appears to have tried to really capture the emotion of that scene...

Wherever they make Cutty Sark, I did MY part that night to boost the GDP of that particular economy...
