My Travel Journey #1: Greece (and my first post)

Hello everyone, and welcome to my first post on Steemit, and of my travelling. I'm a software developer from a small town in the Netherlands, who's pretty much never been outisde the country, up untill a few years ago. It all starded with my Internship at a company in Istanbul, where I lived with 2 of my friends. One day we decided to travel, to where, to Greece. Here I discovered the enjoyment of traveling, discovering and exploring unkown grounds. I would like to share my adventures where I have been on so far.

So after we arrived in Athens we went straight to our Hostel. This was my first time staying at a hostel so I had no idea what to expect, sleeping together in a room with strangers, leaving your stuff behind. The hostel had a nice little balcony. Sun was shining, birds were singing, nice moment there.

After leaving our stuff at the hostel, we went straight to the city, where the new exploring journey starded. Since it was my first travel destination, unfortunatelyI did not take as many pictures as with my other destinations.

Here I could just stare for hours and enjoy the view, makes you really feel like a free man!

Here I found a nice alleyway, totally unexpected. The results of blindy exploring the unkown.

And as a final, here are some pictures of my cat hunt in Greece. Why, because I freaking love cats!

My first post, not as much as you would expect from a journey in Greece, but that's all I had left. In my upcoming travels I have more adventures, where I traveled to the other side of the world, and more beautiful pictures, I can promise that! If you're interested, stay tuned for more!
