VISIT HISTORIC DOWNTOWN COCOA VILLAGE
Hi, Steemit friends! Are you looking to visit a quaint little town located on the East Coast of Florida with gorgeous views?
Spend an afternoon playing in the park, eating homemade ice cream at the Village Ice Cream Shop and watching the beautiful sailboats go by on a clear and perfect day. This is what the boys and I did one Saturday afternoon. With priceless moments like this, what more could you ask for?
This historic little village in downtown Cocoa offers many great restaurants to include Sublime Restaurant and Sangria Lounge, Ryan’s Village Pizza Shop, Ossorio’s and many shops to stop in as you stroll through the winding streets lined with shaded trees. The city hosts many annual events for Mardi Gras, Christmas Arts and Crafts show and Fourth of July. Cocoa is a runners paradise with the annual Space Coast Marathon where runners from all over the world come and run along the river and down the beautiful streets of Cocoa. The marathon is held Thanksgiving weekend and if you are a runner like I am you will definitely want to sign up. I’ve ran the half marathon twice and back in training now for the full.
There are so many things to see and do that you could spend your entire day in downtown Cocoa Village from sun up to sundown. This village has so much to offer you will be glad you came to visit.
Cheers, Deana
