Have you ever listened the varying music of a stream? Seen the course of a river on the rocky bed of the mountain? If no then come to witness Urmagarh in Katringia village of Kandhamal, nearly 42 Kilometer from Phulbani. Here the water falls from a height nearly about 60 feet and then flows in a curly path on the rock. Very interesting, you will be curious to walk on the rocks even in the chilled winter. When you touch the water in barefoot you’ll feel something … unexpressed.
Here you’ll find a forest bit house surrounding dense forest. You’ll have the freedom to have picnic, enjoy the beauty of the nature on a tall watchtower and offer anything to Urma Devi Goddess. UrmaDevi is considered as the key goddess of the local tribes. It is believed that nobody can escape from this deity by saying anything false. So she becomes the witness for truth and faith.
