3 things to do in São Paulo - Brazil
São Paulo is a city in the southwest region of Brazil. With a population of +17MM people it is among the largest cities in the world.
It is considered the financial heart of the Brazilian economy as it has the largest economy in Latin America in terms of GDP.
Here I have selected 3 places you MUST KNOW while in São Paulo!
1) Parque do Ibirapuera or Ibirapuera Park
The Ibirapuera park is a place that every person visiting São Paulo should visit. It is a huge park in the middle of the city with lots of tress, lakes and fresh air. People usually goes there with their families to a picnic, practice sports or a simple walk.
In addition, the park boasts a range of cultural activities and art exhibitions!

2) Museu do futebol or Football Museum
Brazilians are worldwide known by their love to football and this attraction in São Paulo brings to visitors a bit of the story about this sport.
The museum is located inside one of the oldest football stadiums in Brazil: Pacaembu. The exhibition has 15 interactive rooms with distinct subjects about football history.
There you can find historical items showing the evolution of the sports as we know it nowadays.

3) Mercado Municipal or Municipal Market
The Municipal Market was inaugurated on January 25, 1933 as a wholesale and retail post specializing in fruits, vegetables, cereals, meats, spices and other food products.
Nowadays the market is much more than just a market! It is a complete tourism experience as you can discover new types of fruits and flavours while walking to the corridors.
You can also taste some of the traditional meals served in the restaurante area inside the market!
The architecture from 30's makes the experience even better!
