The remains of Osama Bin Laden's compound, a Review
I remember when I first heard the news back in 2011 that US president Obama had found and killed Osama. The first thing I did was research the place he had been hiding. I had to know how he had evaded capture for so long. Truthfully I thought he was more than likely already dead by this time, either killed during a bombing campaign, or due to the poor condition of his health which was deteriorating by the time 9/11 happened. I ignored the fact he was already more than likely dead and followed the official story. Why would US president Obama make it up? To boost his struggling re-election campaign? To support foreign interests and smear Pakistan with even more prejudice? I didn’t think about these questions. I just researched Abbottabad and the area he was found.
“That’s strange” I thought “this is a very nice city, and there are military bases everywhere…”
It wasn’t where I expected Osama to be found. Osama’s compound was about 100 metres from the nearest military base. The idea of him sneaking in or out of this place seemed absurd. The location seemed very ropey, but I thought nothing of it.
Was Osama Bin Laden really found in Abbottabad, Pakistan? A city renowned for its education, safety, military presence, pleasant weather, and all round quality of living standards?
I happened to be in Pakistan so I thought I might as well chase this query up. I visited Bilal town where the compound was.
Sign at entrance; says something about the military owning the land
I talked to the locals, many of whom were there when the raid happened.
The story I got from the locals was “No, he was not here”.
It’s true that there was a raid, and that they did kill someone who was a militant, but Osama was never there and neither were any of his family. Bilal town is a middle/upper class area where everyone knows each other. At no point did anyone notice or see any Saudi Arabians who would have stood out. The guy they killed was a militant from a nearby local area. The official story does not match up to the local story in which two of the kids from the compound were never seen again, and they were never mentioned in any of the official stories. The official story is full of many contradictions and changing narrative. I also talked with high level intelligence in both the military and ISI. I was told that they would have known if he was there. They couldn’t believe Obama’s story. There was not a doubt in their minds. They said it with such belief.
Demolished in 2012, all that remains of the site is its solid base, designed to withstand earthquakes
The people of Pakistan believe that the USA created the lie to essentially show who the boss was, and also to promote foreign interests in reinforcing the prejudice against Muslim people and nations. It was a clear example of manufacturing consent for the sake of the industrial-military complex and its need for constant war.
That goat
I did hear a story from Taliban about some of them from Karachi helping Bin Laden back and forth through the mountains of Abbottabad. I found this story improbable, due to the likely bad health status of Osama if he was still alive, preventing him from such feats of travel. The heavy military presence also discounts this theory, as well as Bilal town being a small area where everyone knows each other. Also the frequency of travel casts doubt as he was supposedly hidden in a room for five years. Moving around in a heavily militarized zone is a silly thing to do if you are that wanted. This also contradicted the witness evidence from the local public and intelligence. It sounded like something they made up to gain street credit. Terrorism in Pakistan has become a game of branding with terrorist groups competing against each other to commit acts, just to show that they are capable, all for the sake of gaining funding. I didn’t hear this story directly from the people who claimed to have been his transport bodyguards, so perhaps there is truth to it which has been warped, or it dates back to a long time ago in a nearby northern region…
Other end of the compound where they would have kept lifestock and grown vegetables
Water supply
Pakistan is a country that has received a lot of unwarranted prejudice since 9/11. Even Wikipedia shows prejudice by casting doubt on the wonderful people of Abbottabad by saying they “were allegedly unaware of his presence” which implies they probably knew.
The Situation Room
The only evidence that exists that Osama Bin Laden was actually in Abbottabad is the above picture…
😉
Many people aren’t aware of the reality behind Osama Bin Laden. He actually really enjoyed Western cuisine as well as many other Western things. Even if he was holding back his desire for Western cuisine, he would have at least ordered one pizza a month. That’s 60 pizzas over the five years. The local witnesses, the intelligence operatives, the conflicting contradictory official story and the bizarre location of this hideout meant nothing compared to pizza-analysis.
Osama's alleged local
I checked with the local pizza hut and found there were never any pizzas delivered to that compound. This was the final nail in the coffin for my research into if Osama was actually there. I believe he wasn’t there because that’s where the evidence points.
Posing with a friend at a tourist spot for one of the biggest lies of the 21st century
I’m not saying Osama wasn’t there. I’m just saying there is no evidence that he was there, but plenty of evidence and motive to think otherwise. Obama was facing a tough re-election challenge before declaring his Osama kill. Also it is important for the US government to keep building prejudice against Muslim countries such as Pakistan to manufacture consent when it comes to the industrial-military complex and its need for constant war.
9/10 a solid lie which many still believe backed up by one photograph taken in the USA...
My stepbrother was an army ranger in the military and knew the members of Seal Team Six (the team who supposedly killed Bin Laden). Every member of that team died in a helicopter crash shortly after that.
I asked my stepbrother if he thought there was a coverup going on, or if it was just a coincidence. He refused to answer the question. Take it as you will.
Well, if that's true then we have the most convincing circumstancial evidence that this was all a scam and the Seals who knew the truth have been silenced forever. This is a very common method of operation for the scumbags that control and manipulate humanity.
Great post!
Bill Cooper predicted 9/11 three (3) months before it happened - he also said that they would blame Osama bin Laden.
Bill served on the Intelligence Briefing Team for the Commander In Chief of the Pacific Fleet.
Me - "Hey local pizza guy. I'm a stranger snooping about for reasons you can only guess at. Did you happen to deliver pizzas to the most sought after international terrorist the world has ever know for several years without noticing anything or notifying anyone?"
Pizza Guy - "Nope. Don't know nothing about any of that."
Me - "Just as I suspected!"
Ha ha! ^_^
I am friends with many people in Abbottabad, and being a foreigner (which there are few of) people are very up for conversation, and people like to have a laugh and joke at the terrorism stuff. A few people now call that pizza hut "Osama's local" because of my enquiry into his penchant for western cuisine.
In Pakistan as long as you are a guest of someone in that area, then you are welcomed by everyone.
Great exploration and photos. Your evidence seems to be quite anecdotal and I don't think it is enough basis for the conclusions, but questioning the official line is quite healthy and there may always be some doubt in peoples' minds about what really happened. Loved the story and photos also. Very nice job.
Thanks! I think the whole affair is anecdotal.
"Though the Abbottabad raid has been described in great detail by U.S. officials, no physical evidence constituting "proof of death" has been offered to the public, neither to journalists nor to independent third parties who have requested this information through the Freedom of Information Act. Numerous organizations filed FOIA requests seeking at least a partial release of photographs, videos, and/or DNA test results, including The Associated Press, Reuters, CBS News, Judicial Watch, Politico, Fox News, Citizens United, and NPR."
I believe the local people. The neighbourhood is like a middle/upper class suburb. A lot of good people there. It's not a big place, and just based on that it seems very unlikely that an Arab family moved in unnoticed. There is only one road in and out.
Yes, I understand that. They didn't release much info. It's not impossible that someone could have stayed mostly indoors and within the compound, though, especially if he was in ill health. And the local people may feel ashamed in some way if that were true, so they might prefer to stick to their own story. It was clear that someone was being kept there. Hiding in "plain sight" (an affluent suburb) could have been a great way to foil all those searches in the remote mountain areas.
That's just a different viewpoint, but I have no opinion on it myself as there isn't enough evidence on either side for me to judge. I enjoyed your post, which was one of the best ones I have seen in a while, and hope you keep writing on Steemit.
Thank you! 😊
I am very good friends with many of the locals, and have background in working in News and Media. I have researched this subject quite extensively and believe the local accounts, I trust my friends and the local story does not contradict any of the factual information (of which there is very little) regarding this case.
But who knows... 🐒
Sure was:
Just to clear some things up:
You are either being devil's advocate with your questions or you believe what the news say?
A third option would be that you don't give a fuck either way, as you alluded in the end, which means.. why the fuck did you spend all that time arguing for something you don't even care enough to form an opinion of, or as you say, don't have any information to form an opinion of, and I dare say, what would be enough information/evidence?
The older I get, the less I understand. I wasn't there. I didn't see it happen on video. There might be other pizza joints in town. I'm not smart enough to know what really happened and so I file it away in that compartment in my brain where I keep things that I don't truly understand. Some may not be comfortable with that, but it works for me.
It still doesn't answer anything, why tf open your mouth then? Devil's advocate? Simply wasting time with drivel and platitudes? You want video or personal presence for the pretense of evidence to form an opinion? You need only to examine the evidence that already exists and come to a conclusion about it through critical thinking and simple logic, and then form an opinion, all other pretense aside. Why say
It's clear as day you have no problem with forming opinions without those pretense. Wtf
I too was initially suspicious of the official story as it stated that osama was found in a CITY(?) (LOL) as there were a lot of bunkers and mountain caves in amidst of deserts.... Why would a WANTED person be in a well populated area with so much telecommunication and exposure to the outer world.it almost seemed fake but the political conditions at that time and the tension between other nations and pakistan....with an ongoing war made everyone believe that it is true and brought peace to everyone mind....but unconsciously (or subconsciously) america has planted a seed in everyone's mind that everyone should bow before it(no harm intended) or it is the supreme power.
Whatever has happened(or not) for whatever reason.....it has dissolved away with time.
Great analysis and nice thinking.
Keep it up.
Peace to all
Very interesting post, thanks for the great effort. It doesn't surprise me, when I first heard of the Bin Laden capture/assassination and quick burial at sea, I thought...ÿeah right, you hunt this man for years, spend billions and when you finally get em, you quietly dump the body overboard?" I don't think so. It's more like you have a victory parade, and publicly display the vanquished foe, you wouldn't pass up that opportunity to rake in the votes and popularity points! I don't know where Osama was when this all went down, or if he was dead or alive, but I'm pretty certain he wasn't in that box that was dumped overboard. Upvoted and resteemed.
All the people that believe MSM are like "kook, conspiracy theory" because instead of considering the why and being critical of their story, there is automatic recoil, pure matrix consciousness, believe the MSM even after they have lied to them. Those people cannot be trusted because they have no value of what trust means, and have no problem with someone lying to them, as they prove with their logic, with their rhetoric, repeatedly:
I trust the msm, but not too much.
Thanks!
I believe that due to his health conditions he was likely already dead, or possibly died in a bombing campaign somewhere, as his body would likely be buried and never found. I believe that the US probably found out he was definitely dead, and so staged the assasination of one mid level Pakistani militant claiming it was Osama to cash in on those votes and public opinion, instead of losing face.
The entire thing is just US government/military narrative with no evidence backing it up.
Osama lives in hitlers old house now in south america :-)
Wonderful post! Thank you for sharing!
Thank you! ^_^
FYI, a number of men in Seal Team 6 died in a NATO helicopter crash in 2011, but NOT the men who were part of the Osama Bin laden killing. In fact, against navy protocol, one of the Osama operators has written some books about the raid and another was on a television special .
They both made claims. No evidence. Their story was Matt Bisonsotte killed Bin Laden. Then it was Robert O'Neill who killed him. Then the story became everyone was shooting him, Robert O'Neill got the head shot, and the rest of the team in the room shot him a bit extra after, because it was a team effort.
When all else fails, check with the local pizza hut. Haha! Awesome story man. I guess the western media bias got to me. I didn't even know they had pizza huts there. That one looks pretty nice!
My policy is to more or less assume that the mainstream news stories are real, but never believe them so much that it's surprising when something different comes out. Conspiracy theories are fun but not super productive.
They have smart phones too 😜 Also KFC, McDonalds, and Subway.
Islamabad, Centaurus
So you believe that mainstream is "real", but not too much. Good to know you're ok with being lied to a little once in awhile, because it's not as if your trust means anything.
