Explore with me #8: Schönbrunn Palace - Vienna
hello steemit...
in one of my last posts i wrote that my husband and i love to take a walk through the gardens of the schönbrunn palace. the palace is a former imperial summer residence. the 1,441-room baroque palace is one of the most important architectural, cultural, and historical monuments in austria.
the gardens are extremly stunning during every season. taking a walk through the gardens, especially in autumn, is just stunning. take a look:
the whole area is very diverse. there is the palace, a cute little church, a zoo, the cafe gloriette, the palm house, the botanical garden, a lot of sculptures, the roman ruins... etc. there is so much to explore and every time we visit the palace we find something we have never seen before, because of the enormous landscape.
vienna is such a beautiful city. you definitely have to check this place out when you come to vienna. i could write a whole book about the schönbrunn palace, but i hope you had a little glimpse with this post.
take care...
