Explore with me #3: Bratislava

hi guys...

today i want to write a little bit about bratislava the capital of slovakia. my husband and i took a weekend trip to slovakia. such a cute litte city with a lot of history and a beautiful castle on a hill above the old town. 

we arrived by bus and went straight ahead to a vegetarian/vegan restaurant. yumm. afterwards we strolled through the city a bit. unfortunately it rained a lot so we decided to explore a romantic cafe downtown.

i additionally ordered nutella pancakes - omg... so freakin' delicious :) 

because of the rain we decided to enjoy our stylish hotel we booked for our stay. LOFT hotel bratislava. i really recommend this hotel. the interior design is over the top and the beds are really comfortable. we enjoyed a beautiful sunset from our hotel room and realxed from that day. 

as you can see - pretty amazing, huh? i can't wait for our next visit to bratislava. i definitely know which hotel i'm gonna book. oh and i forgot to mention the breakfast. who doesn’t love a great big hotel breakfast on holiday? normally we’re all in such a rush in the morning, grabbing a quick bite before heading off for work. but when you’re away, there’s usually time to relax. therefore, we really enjoyed our mini vacation and the time we had in the morning. having breakfast with no hurry, the variaty of food prepped and ready to be eaten is just a little bit of luxury i don't always have.
