Yashas' Travelogue #24 - Story Of Indian Backwaters And Fresh Fish Delicacy
Today I am bring you closer to a Indian city famous all over the world for its backwaters. Kochi of our own God's own country Kerala. I was in Kochi during my transit flight to Malaysia.
With what ever little time I had in hand to visit places here, I made sure I visited places like Fort Kochi, the one stop destination for ferries and food. It is one of the most relaxed placed in Kochi to spend some time in.
Fort Kochi is a place where one can enjoy the nature at its best, I started off by trying out local fish delicacy, one can buy freshly caught sea fishes and get it cooked by the fort. We Indians prefer spicy food and I got just what I wanted.
I brought Prompret fishes and got it fried, spicy fish fry was delicious and I was full. Be careful of few people here who try to dupe you with rates, bargain hard. Once I was done with food, I took a casual stroll along the fort and then took a ferry to the main city.
While on the ferry one can get to see huge Ships of Indian Navy, Merchant ships and for someone from a metro city this was unusual. As always I ll let some images speak the story.

Nice post!
I upvoted it, but then realized it is duplicated 😊🙈
It is a honest mistake from steemit end... I had nothing to do with it and I have removed two duplicate posts and replaced it with my blogs. Including one which tells you about sequence of events which led to this duplicity.
Thank you
What's the fish in that last food photo? Seafish yeah but which species?
That is Pompret as we call it locally, I have no idea about the species it belongs to
