Back in Hong Kong part 5
Here another post with a few pictures from the beautiful city of Hong Kong. I really encourage all of you to go there at least once, you will be amazed by the mix of culture, the food, the technology, the mix of traditional and modern style. Despite what it looks like Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (S.A.R.) is really turned into ecology and whenever they can add some greenery they do it. The all (S.A.R.) is made of 200 some islands and what is called the new territory (the Kowloon peninsula) 95% of the all (S.A.R.) lands are protected natural territories and the law to keep it natural is very strong and well enforced. Also, Hong Kong is a place for shopping as it is Tax-free. Really a place I recommend. I've been there so many time since the English time and since then it keeps have the same effect on me.
Chinese Junk in Victoria Harbor.
Star Ferry in front of the IFC 1 and 2 towers.
Hong Kong Ting-Ting tramway (Ding-Ding) a cheap way to travel on HK island.
Here a panoramic of Hong Kong early morning.
A skinny building, many HK building is so tall and skinny that it is hard to understand how they can stand.
Old HK building style from the 60'.
The old Tin Hau Temple in the middle of the modern building.
Chinese decorated building.
Streets of Hong Kong with many signs, unfortunately, the actual government try to get rid of it, this is one of the characteristics of HK. Also, on the first picture, you can see in the back a building with bamboo scaffolding, this is the main technic to all building construction whatever the size and the height.
A night view of Victoria Harbor with low clouds.

It was a great trip, as usual, never a Hong Kong trip is bad for me. It is a "Blade Runner" style city and the fog add a lot to it. Thank you.
Hehe blade runner 🏃 I agree with you it's hard to have a bad experience in Hong Kong :)
Lovely post like taking a ride around and being shown the sites. Thank you. I always wanted to go to Hong Kong but never made it there. This brings it home to me even more, I should have gone! Great photos and a real introduction to a fascinating place. I imagine in the current climate it would be best to go right now before anything changes. Happy Steeming!
