Best things of Lisbon
Hello beautiful community,
As already said by me and also as some of you may know, Lisbon is the capital of Portugal, and today I present you with some reasons to visit Lisbon.
A very good climate
Both in winter and in summer, temperatures in Lisbon are neither too low nor too high, so in winter we average 15ºC and in summer an average of 28ºC, is not it cool? So if you think about coming to Lisbon or wrap yourself or bring your sun cream, but more importantly, enjoy :P

A large metro network connecting different points of the city
Hmm, on second thought, if you come to visit Lisbon you will also want to visit the most important points, but of course, quickly. For this we have the metro, connects the most important points of the city from the Airport to Belém or Terreiro do Paço, among other places. And while you wait you can always enjoy the art of every metro station. Here are the metro routes:
But this is not only what Lisbon has, you are interested in amphibious tourism? Imagine you are on a bus and do not even need to catch a boat to walk along the margins of Lisbon, so I present the Hippobus, one of the buses built to walk both on the road and in the water, and watching the dolphins in Lisbon by bus side, cool?
Our beloved "Pastéis de Belém"
During your stay in Portugal, you have to try the as many Portuguese traditional dishes as you can. It’s not only delicious but it’s also super cheap!
There’s a lot of restaurants, some fancier than others and as in every big city, there are tourist traps too. The good news is that in Lisbon is very easy to find good quality food for a very reasonable price. Usually, a lot of local restaurants have “dish of the day” available, which is delicious and super cheap, these are usually familiar places and have amazing food. You can always count on fresh seafood and amazing meat dishes!
Another thing portuguese are very good at is their pastries which you can find in their “pastelarias” (bakeries). They have always fresh cakes, like our "Pastel de Belém".
A Lisbon classic! It is a small cream cake, with a base of crisp phyllo dough. If freshly made and hot … the better it is. It is usually served with a little powdered sugar and cinnamon on top.
The original ones, and that I recommend you to try, are served at a a bakery located in Belém, in the address indicated below. But if you don’t have the opportunity to go there, no worries, because almost all bakeries in the city also sell them.
