Travel with me to Las Vegas

Las Vegas is no doubt a special exists. Full of dreams and ambitions, Americans made this incredible city in the desert. There is no way you could tell that this gorgeous city locates in the desert except the dry air. I met lots of people that hesitate to go there for many reasons, but after one trip, on there way back home, they are already planed the next one. For sure, Las Vegas is an amazing city that attracts all different kinds of people, where you can feel and see so many wield things here.

There are three famous industries here in Las Vegas. Casino, buffet and shows. 90% of these business are on the strip, which is the most famous street in Las Vegas, and this street probably has the most number of high end hotels.

The hotel I stayed here is called the Venetian&Palazzo. It is a all suites hotel. This hotel is so famous that Macao, China had built the exact same one, even the name. However, the Venetian locates at almost the end of the strip, which is clearly not a perfect location, especially for the people who wants to view the strip from their hotel rooms.
Now I want to share a little trick called "sandwich", which I believe is pretty popular in Las Vegas. The meaning is simple and very easy to operate, all you need to do is put a 20 dollar bill between your ID and credit card when you check in, and hand it to the front desk. Yeah, it is kinda like "bribe"! Under this situation, 90% possibility that the front desk will give you some pay back worthy way more than 20 dollars. Your hotel room might be updated to a greater level, you might receive some restaurant credit, the best possibility is that your resort fees are removed! (resort fee is almost a must for every hotel in Las Vegas, ranges from 30-40 dollars per night your stay). This time, I just order a normal room in the Venetian, after "sandwich", I got myself a deluxe suite with the strip view!

Here I want to mention a very important thing, your safety. We all know that Las Vegas attracts so many tourists. Almost all the hotels in Las Vegas have a casino, and the room part and casino part are always together. So make sure you choose the hotel that has guards in the entrance of the room part and prevent people from entering if they are not guests of the hotel.

Also another heads up of a little thing, there is a refrigerator and a small tray on the refrigerator. DO NOT TOUCH the tray or open the refrigerator if you do not want to pay besides your room rate. They all have a kinda movement sensor that can detect any movement. If you accidentally grab something or move something, just eat it, you would be charged anyway.

Now I want to say something about buffets in Las Vegas. With no doubt, the Bacchanal buffet inside Caesars Palace is the most famous one in Las Vegas. However, longer than 3 hours waiting in line and 70 dollars per person after tax is way too much compare to the quality of the food they provide. I mean, it is for sure a lifetime experience for the first time visitors, so it deserves to try on some level. For the people who want to experience a great buffet, I have one to recommend, which is Sterling Brunch locates inside of Bally's hotel. This buffet only opens on Sunday and should make reservations online a couple of months ago, which means you do not have to wait in line in order to get seated. Sterling Brunch Buffet is the only buffet in Las Vegas where you can eat as many lobster tails as you want, as well as prime ribs, lamb chops and many other kinds of seafood, also several delicious desserts. About the price, it costs you 99 dollars before tax per person, which is reasonable according to my perspective.

There also have so many great restaurants in Las Vegas, from Hell's Kitchen Burger by Gordon Ramsay to Earl's World famous Sandwich, which by the way, is the greatest sandwich that I have ever had! I do not have many recommendations due to everyone has his own unique taste.

Las Vegas is well known for its amazing night life maybe because of the high temperature during daytime. It is quite empty when you walking around the city in the daytime. However, this city is filled with people when night comes. You have so many options to entertain yourself, the roller coster on the roof of New York New York hotel, the M&M inside of the MGM, the music fountain in front of the Bellagio hotel, different shows, casinos, buffets, restaurants, or you can just wandering around the strip. Everybody can have fun in this city no matter in which way, maybe it is the magic of Las Vegas.

After so many rambling, if you are getting interested in this great city, than go there and experience it in person, you will receive an unforgettable memory!

拉斯维加斯绝对是一个神奇的存在。多年前的美国人怀揣着梦想和野心，让这座城市在沙漠中拔地而起。灯红酒绿的世界，街上川流不息的车流，除了极其干燥的气候，根本不会让人察觉到这座城市坐落在荒芜的沙漠之中。我见过无数的人在没去过拉斯维加斯之前都是忐忑的，去了一次之后却又向往着下一次的旅行。毫无疑问，这座城市是有魅力的，留住了一批又一批的回头客，也吸引着一波又一波的新人，不管是靠赌博还是秀，靠餐厅还是酒吧，由不得你去评判好坏，拉斯维加斯都是成功的。
拉斯维加斯最有名的三大产业就是赌博，秀和自助餐了吧。而这三大产业几乎全部集中在长街上。这条街应该是世界上酒店密度和豪华程度最高的一条街了吧。
这次我入住的是威尼斯人-帕拉索酒店。这家酒店有名到澳门造了一间连名字都一模一样的。但是我个人认为这个酒店的位置并没有特别好，不是位于长街的中间位置，如果想要看长街夜景特地订了街景房的可能会感到失望了。
这里想介绍一个拉斯维加斯酒店预订的小技巧，就是大名鼎鼎的三明治啦！什么意思呢，就是在前台登记入住的时候，在自己的证件和银行卡中间夹一张20美元的现金，一起递给前台，其实就是明目张胆的“贿赂”前台啦！90%的可能前台会给你远远超过20美元的回报，可能是给你升级到豪华大套房，可能是给你免费的餐券，最好的可能是免除你入住以来所有的resort fee（resort fee这个东西是几乎拉斯维加斯所有酒店都有的，一般是每晚30-40美元）。我这次原本预定的就是威尼斯人一间普通房间，三明治之后，前台给我升级到了街景的豪华大套房！
还有一点特别想提一下，因为拉斯维加斯是著名的旅游城市，而长街又是这座旅游城市的最中心，所以鱼龙混杂，各式各样的人都有，尤其是酒店的赌场和客房部挨在一起，安全一定是重中之重，所以预定酒店的时候最好订客房部有安保人员的，这样，只有住客才能进入客房部，并不是所有人都能
另外，拉斯维加斯几乎所有的酒店房间内，都有一个装酒水的小冰柜，然后上面有一个放着各种零食的小托盘。如果你不想额外花钱，就不要碰这些东西，记住，是不要碰！因为托盘和冰柜上都有感应装置，就算你拿起来看一看再放回去，也是要收钱的。如果拿起来了，那就吃了吧，毕竟，吃不吃都算钱的。
关于自助的部分，毫无疑问凯撒宫是负有盛名的。然而3+小时的排队，70刀每人的消费，相比起所提供的食物来说，实在是太不值得了。不过作为一次有趣的经历也是蛮不错的选择。我相信肯定有不少人想找一家真正能吃爽的自助，那么我推荐sterling brunch。这家自助只有在周日才开门，而且需要提前数月在网站上预定，这样一来，能省去很多排队的时间。这是拉斯维加斯唯一一家能自助吃龙虾吃到饱的自助，当然还有无限量的牛排，羊排，各类海鲜以及精美的甜品。当然价格么，也是比一般的自助要贵，税前99刀每人。我个人觉得还是非常值得的！
当然拉斯维加斯还有数不清的特色餐厅，有gorden ramsy开的地狱汉堡，有我觉得最好吃的三明治earl’s。由于每个人的口味大不相同，我就不多做推荐啦。
因为拉斯维加斯是著名的不夜城，所以城内的活动也集中在夜幕降临以后。有可能也是因为白天气温过高的原因，日间的拉斯维加斯趋于一座空城。但是夜幕降临，华灯初上，各种活色生香的秀就拉开序幕，赌场老虎机的声音也此起彼伏，觥筹交错，人们欢声笑语。你可以尝试去纽约纽约乘坐位于楼顶的过山车体验一把刺激的感觉，可以去MGM的M&M豆四层商店去感受童趣，去百丽宫门口观看精彩的喷泉表演，秀场里看秀，赌场里小试牛刀，自助餐厅内大快朵颐，或者只是单纯的在长街上闲逛。每个人都能以自己舒服的方式在这座城里享受乐趣，或许，这就是拉斯维加斯的魅力所在。
