A glimpse of Shantiniketan | Where peace made its home

Kabiguru Rabindranath Tagore is considered to be God in our Bengali culture. His creations glorifies many cultural fields of out Bengal. Beside his immense talent in literature, he held a vision of making a soceity filled with culture, humanism and love. With this good will in his heart he created an institution in the year 1921, to inspire and educate people in various cultural fields. Thus, was established Visva-Bharati University and a place imerged in world map named Shantiniketan*. I went there many times, as only the university is not only thing that made it different. Bauls are born here, tribal villages make the soceity, and other with many things it's actually a place where peace made its home.

Today I am here sharing some pitures of the campus of Visva-Bharati University. Hope you like it.
