Hello friends welcome to my blog series about Visit to Nepal. In this series i want to share you guys the beauty of nature that is blessed by god in Nepal. Nepal is rich in natural beauty but it's reach to the international level is low so as a Nepali i want to share it's beauty with you guys and increase the tourism in the country from this platform (Steemit).
Today I want to talk about one of the best lake in Nepal i.e.

Gokyo Lakes

Gokyo lake is situated in Khumjung Village of Solukhumbu district in Nepal. Gokyo lake is also called "Dudh Pokhari" is located at above around (15,400-16,400 ft) form sea level.It is one of the biggest fresh water lake in Nepal.Here water is flow from the Ngozumpo glacier. It is the most scenaric palce with the best view of the Great MT.Everest.

• Gokyo lake has the religious significance of Hindu and Buddhist people.
• During Janai Purnima ("Festival") Hindu people went there to take bath as there is belief it will help to get rid of sins.
• It is also called as Place of "Snake God" as there is temple of god as well.
• Here lots of flora and fauna were protected and people enjoy real beauty of it.

Gokyo Lake is one of the place where lot's of tourist came to visit every year as it is located on the base camp Mt.Everest.

• Here mostly people likes to hike with friends and enjoy
• It's a challenging place to go as you have to tackle with high altitude, needs stamina to face challenge .
