Lake Lut Tawar or often called Tawar is a lake in the Highlands of Aceh, 1,500 metres above sea level.

The Lake is a site of interest due to its location on the edge of the town of Takengon, Central Aceh Regency. The breadth of reach 5,472 hectares with a length of 17 kilometers and width of 3.219 kilometer.
