Post Office " Besar" Building 1955
The post office building was built in 1912, the building was designed by engineers who joined in Burgerliike Openbare Werken (BOW), Ministry of Public Works during the reign of the Dutch East Indies.
The magnificent and beautiful building that stands in the corner of Senopati Panembahan Street and Trikora Street, the building area 1,121.45 m² above the land area of 6,400 m².
It used to be the Post, Telegraaf en Telefoon Kantoor. Until now the building is still very well maintained. And on top of this building there is Dormer Straight vertical main door, Dormer is a window located on the roof of the building. This window is part of the room under the roof, made jutting out with a perpendicular shape and has its own roof. Another prominent part of this building lies in its six-faced, little circular facade. And this building embraces the architectural style of Indishe Empire Style of the 18th and 19th centuries.
