Choosing self-catering or package holidays. Which is better?

In today's world people have plenty of possibilities to travel abroad. They choose between planning holidays by themselves or just asking travel agencies to plan it. From my personal experience, I usually organize trips by myself.

Package holiday is a deal when transportation and food and lodging are all provided at an inclusive price by travel agent. It is a great opportunity to save time, money and miss hardship in kitchen. By letting to organize trip for professionals people don't have any headache of choosing in variety of hotels. However, travel agencies offer charter flights and get bigger discounts than common person.

Self-catering is accommodation rental business equipped to enable guests to cook their own meals. Its deals are usually provided for simple clients in popular accommodation search engines, such as Booking.com or tripadvisor.com . Tenants can try national cuisine of country's local restaurants or cook food in cheap way similar to home. Self-catering clients not even save their money but also live without any restrictions, schedule or mass of people as in any other hotel.

All in all, both of the traveling ways are cheap nowadays. Package holidays save tourist time, but self-catering includes cooking food by itself and free choice of activities to-do without facing with hotel inconvenience.
