island fortress :- Murud janjira

Murud janjira fort is a fort built on the islands of janjira by siddhis. I was recently visiting this place and clicked some of the photos to show the greatness of the fort. It is located to 165km south of Mumbai. We need to take the ferry from rajapuri to reach the entrance of the fort. This fort was unconquered till Indian Independence in 1947.

More than 550 families used to live in this fort. This are their structures.

This structures were used for guarding the forts from enemy.
