Great Time to Visit the Smoky Mountians

This to me is one of the most spectacular places in Tennessee, the majestic mountains and temperatures this time of year go hand in hand. The smoke is present on most days and with a short drive around the park you will clearly see why this place is growing in tourism and sight seeing.

With its growing popularity, it is turning into a destination for folks almost year around. From now until mid March is one of the slowest tourist times, so if you are like me, the off season is a perfect time to visit. No bumper to bumper traffic, great rates on motels and enjoy some incredible places to eat without the long waiting list.

You won’t be disappointed stopping by the old mill, great food and the water wheel still works. Great place to park and walk the streets. There are some pretty unique buildings all geared up to grab your attention(and money). Advice from me, get off the beaten path and tourist routes. Drive around and find why all us locals fell in love with this little area of the world. Great place to bring the family for a relaxing weekend.
