FACT 1: The Netherland not Holland
I first want to make one thing clear: Its The Netherlands not Holland. Holland are just two states (North- and South-Holland) IN the Netherlands.

If you wondering why their are two Hollands:
In 1840 Holland got much power, in envy of the other states. It was one the reasons the Belgium revolution happend (What caused the separation of Belgium). After the revolution did Holland decide to split in North- and South-Holland.

FACT 2: Weed ins't legal

In contrast with what the most of you would think weed isn't officially legal. The Netherlands has a tolerance policy.

What does this mean?

That it is technically illegal but the police tolerates weed under a few conditions:

• You can have maximum 5 Grams of weed or Hash.
• You own a maximum of 5 cannabis plants.

With the an average height of 184 cm or 6 ft for a men and 170 cm or 5.6 ft for a woman, are the dutch the tallest of the world. Scientists think that dutch people are so tall because of their high protein diet and high quality healthcare.

The Dutch East India Company is the biggest company in history. Its the first publicly traded company on the world's first stock exchange. The company had the largest fleet in the world and traded goods (specially spices) between Europe and Asia. This company would have a now a day worth of 7.4 trillion dollars (corrected by inflation).
