Travel: Biei - Home To A Very Colorful Flower Farm

Biei is a small town in Hokkaido that boasts picturesque landscapes. One of main attractions here is Shikisai-no-Oka, which has a 7 hectare hill grown with a huge variety of flowers. Visitors have the choice of exploring the whole place either by foot or by cart. I personally like exploring on foot so I can take my time and savor every moment. Some of the flowers on display include tulip, salvia, peony, marigold, dahlia, and lupine. This region is famous for its rolling hills which acts as a nice complement to the beauty of the flower farm.
