Moulin Rouge

The absolute epitome of French burlesque cabaret, or burlesque full stop.

Hidden in the "Red light district" of Paris, this little number has dazzled the city of Paris for just over 100 years. Originally founded in 1889, the original house burned down in 1915 and is highly recognised for it's red windmill on the roof.

Most people will know that the show focuses on the can-can dance, but from my own experience, it is largely an exotic arena with sizzling entertainers wearing very little!
