Travel #1: Salzburg, Austria [EU]

Hey all steemians,

I went to Salzburg with my girlfriend, and it was amazing. We woke up around 6 am, because we had to drive from Munich to Salzburg, which takes around 1,5 hour driving. I drove to Salzburg while my girlfriend did some research on the internet. We didn't know where to drive so we searched on google Salzburg, and we just put in our navigation of google maps "hohensalzburg". After 1,5 hour of driving we parked our car, and the first moment when i saw that castle I was really speechless.

We spend like literately 3 hours there to enjoy the view, and we also made a lot of nice pictures together.

Relationship goals?

after spending our time on the mountain, we decided to try out a local restaurant since we haven't eaten breakfast yet. After our lunch we just took our car and drove into the city. The parking garage was quite easy to find.

We were walking around the city and exploring Salzburg, our first impression is that Salzburg has a lot of Christmas decoration. The vibe of the city is really amazing, I just love it.

Our goal was actually going up to the castle, but we couldn't find the funicular. I am really bad in looking on maps, gladly I have a girlfriend who is my tour guide. Sadly it was closed when we came there, so we decided to go somewhere else.

We went to the museum of Salzburg and learned a lot about their past. It was already around 6pm and we decided to go ice skating, even though I am really bad in ice skating.

After 1 hour of ice skating, we decided to go around the city to search for some other activities. Gladly we decided to walk around, because we found a perfect place to make a beautiful shot together. It was quite a funny story, because we didn't take our tripod with us, so I put my camera on the ground. People around us were just laughing, because it looked really silly to be honest. It was definitely worth the shot in my opinion.

Around 11pm we drove back to Munich and that was our day-trip. I feel like i haven't explored the whole city of Salzburg yet, but I really enjoyed my time with my girlfriend. I will definitely come back to Salzburg again.

Tip for the people who wants to go to Salzburg in these months, it's really cold I recommend you to wear a jacket, scarf and gloves!!!
