Day 1 Of USA Road Trip. Drove 750 miles from NY to TN
So the first day was great. I got use to driving long distances while driving to Florida in the winter time.
The landscapes closer to NY were normal to us because we live there, but the further we got the nicer it looked.
Some hills and small mountains started showing themselves in Virginia and it was sometimes amazing.
We didnt make any stops on the first day because we wanted to get as far along as we could. I used up a tank and a forth of gas to get here.
Doing 550 miles on an all gas engine on 9ne tank is impressive for my 2012 Sonata. Here are some pics.
Day 2 starts NOW !!!
That's a heck of a lot of miles. Hard to get out and see many stops making that kind of time. I suppose you have to go as fast as you have to go. I think a road trip is best when you have a little time to stop here and there, especially as you make your way through some of those off the beaten track roads.
