A place where I would like to live in old age - Le Puy-en-Velay, France.
Our trip to France has left a lot of pleasant memories in my heart, so there will be many more posts about this wonderful country.
When I was going in France, I constantly thought about Paris, but it turned out that the most interesting thing was not there, but in ordinary French villages and towns.
I was very happy because we had the opportunity to use the world-famous train called TGV that can speed up to 500 km / h!
For two and a half hours we drove almost half of France! Can you imagine that???
Le Puy-en-Velay is one of those towns where you want to come back again and again...
It is very quiet and comfortable here. Houses look like scenery from fairy tales and it seems that something magical will happen now.
We settled in a small hotel in the center of the town. We were very fortunate enough that we found a free room, because we arrived just in the hiking season.
Several hundred routes begin or cross this magnificent place.
We also came here to try our forces and walk on a route longer than 200 km but I will write about it a little later.
Although the town Le Puy-en-Velay is not big, there are a lot of interesting monuments of history and culture here. Most of all, I liked the ancient churches and temples.
We made a lot of interesting photos while staying there so tomorrow I will definitely share them with you 😉.
Have a wonderful night!
Best wishes,
Olga:)
