Officially in COSTA RICA!
After the 2 flights from NY to Panama City, we finally made it to San Jose, Costa Rica! Before even landing I knew the country was going to be amazing and that I would never want to leave- ever. Through the airplane window you could see the green mountains and bright blue skies, and I could feel the tropical heat through the walls! After months and months of miserable cold, grey Winters in NYC, I couldn't wait to feel the heat.

My first palm tree, ever!
More palm trees! I can't believe how beautiful they are! ( I'm used to dead trees over here in NY).
Anyway we got out of the airport and the heat BLASTED us. It was 90 degrees and sunny but it felt so good on our skin. The week before we left had been in the 20's all week, so we appreciated the warmth!
Well that's it for now- we've got a 7 hour drive to the very South of Costa Rica, so we've gotta get on the road!
