Summer is coming and there are smartphones everywhere, but what about apps for travellers? Her is a list and short description for 10 useful apps you should have installed before travel.
Most known are Trivago, Booking and Agoda, but there are also other apps that you might need:
- TRIPIT
These app helps you to organise and create a full travel plan that includes airplane tickets, restaurants, hotels, car rental....
It uses your confirmation mail to plan your trip and for users of Gmail and Google apps, this happens instantly.
- SPLITWISE
If you are travelling with a group of people that you wish to share expenses, this app will monitor your expenses and divide them into preset settings by you.
- TRIPADVISOR
Well-known app with a lot of travel advises, pictures, ratings and maps. Must-have!
- UBER
This app will find you closest driver (taxi) depending on your current location, you can pay via Uber app.
- TRIPOSO
This app will create tourist guide for your needs, it will automatically find (online) best places to visit, and return your results as a tourist guide, with all info that you need.
- XE CURRENCY
Instant currency converter
- FOODSPOTTING
A guide to good food and it will show you where you can find it.
- GOOGLE TRANSLATE
Google translator with more than 70 different languages, you can enter words, or add them by photo or listen to spelling.
- ACCUWEATHER
Weather app with an update every 15 minutes for next 15 days.
- GOOGLE MAPS
Well-known map app with GPS function, with updates on public transfers and roads status. Must-have!
