Copenhagen Statues, Scenes, and Spaces
Søfartsmonumentet (Maritime Monument) sculpted by Svend Rathsack, and located on the Langelinie. The classical angel with laurel wreath, presides over wrecks in modern bas relief
Seeing København
Scandinavia is beautiful but a photographer in the north countries has to work fast when the sun shines and make do during the frequent overcasts. Grey skies can make for dark interiors with strangely bright windows, as you'll see in this gallery. Amid the challenges of shadow and highlight, Copenhagen continues to be visually stimulating and a seemingly endless ability to surprise and delight.
The flagship store of Magasin chain of department stores. The chain originally opened a shop here when this was the Hotel du Nord in 1870
A glowing gilt palace room with chandelier
Interior of the Marble Church. The magnificent dome covers most of the pews, rather than just the altar
The Marble Church's dome from inside. See the exterior in this post. The magenta hue below the windows was not added
The Gefion fountain celebrates the creation of the Danish island of Zealand, which in myth was plowed from Sweden by the goddess, Gefion, clearly a badass. See the Prose Edda for more
Beyond the fountain in the Amaliehaven is an old pal from my last post
In Copenhagen, these fellows are called dragons. They can be found on walls and in fountains spraying water from their elephant's trunks!

I can't believe there are such beautiful spaces! I don't think I can live to see all the things I want to see and all the beauties of the world. At least I'll see you around. Thank you for that footage!
I'm glad you enjoyed the spaces, Eloynes. You have plenty of time to see many beautiful places!

Thank you, @medicalfacts! I'm glad you had a chance to go. I took a lot a lot of photos during a relatively short visit. I'm still experiencing the city through the images.

Thanks for your comment, @deepak0007. I don't understand you about the rules. Can you say it in another way? If you write in your primary language, maybe I can translate it online.
