I've missed you dear stemians.
Today i want to talk about my Swiss impressions.
I was in Switzerland about several months ago. I heard a lot about the nature of switzerland , but i can say that the north of this country is not a masterpiece. Unfortunately I haven't seen the south and east sides yet, but i'm planning to visit soon.
Basel-

As i went near the city Basel there was spread out the view of industry. Basel is the industrial center of Switzerland. Chemical produce keeps a huge place here. There are located many the world's well known pharmaceutical offices, which have here a part of their manufactures. From the window i saw the logos of some of them. for example: Novartis, Roche, Pentapharm.
When i entered in the city i paid attention to ST Jakob-s stadium. which is indoor arena of one football club Basel.

As we know Switzerland is also well known for it's expensive prices. When i went to Supermarket for food and essentials it costed 90 Swiss frank, which is approximately 90 dollars.
In particular Basel. his center and historical part is incredibly beautiful and so tidy. There are various bridges on the river Rain. The houses that are built near each other, green parks, where you can rest and read a book are so pleasant to see. There is also places where you can swim in rivers and sunbathing. on the riverside there are a lot of restaurants and cafes.

Markplatz is the central square of the city. The city mayor's post located on the area which is full with historical architectural buildings. There are plenty of museums in Basel and if you are interested in with mentioned field the choice is various.
The border of 3 countries

If you visit Basel don't miss the opportuinity to travel in 3 countries at the same time. Switzerland, France and Germany. You can visit this countries at least inlarge (5).jpgridge in 200 meters is Switzerland .
