Day 1 ...

What do you know when you mention the Tay Nguyen ?

1.jpg

A sunny plateau of wind, aroma of fragrant coffee lurking in the air, the blind village elders smiled kindly and sat on the porch roaring or the sound of a deep gong as a song humming us back to the past?

That's what we felt about the Tay Nguyen before coming to this place. Few. Although we are read, viewed a lot and have certain impressions about the Tay Nguyen - but in fact everything is very general and vague. So, when the visit opened and the line of neat Tay Nguyen appeared, our hearts beat faster than a beat. The thrill of knowing I was about to explore a land with many mysteries, then the worry crept when I realized: The whole flood of ... blindness in the Tay Nguyen tourism.

While sitting here and rewriting these lines, I close my eyes to remember every moment of the trip, each scene we went through, the mountains, the hills, the rivers, the white bubbles, the the red dirt road in the high winds of the plateau - a true feeling of emotion in the heart. It is not only because we have jointly explored a whole land where I have only heard the name before, but also because we have truly felt the beat and breath of the people and mountains of the Tay Nguyen. already. We have touched somewhat the magnificent and liberal beauty of the Tay Nguyen.

At this time, I can tell you the short journey of 4 days 3 nights but full of experiences - but if you are a person who is passionate about the journey, be enamored of new lands and love with love My country - certainly, you will not be able to please me but plan to visit this wonderful land.

We chose Vietnam Airlines flight, from Da Nang to Buon Ma Thuot airport - departed at 7am. The Tay Nguyen welcomes us with the atmosphere, the sun is sunny but the wind is cool and cool - in contrast to the thought of a fantasy hot land before coming here.

Because of mentioning the Tay Nguyen, it is mentioned about coffee, so we definitely want to find a "Real Buon Me" to try the taste of the famous coffee in the highlands. Fortunately, our cafe not only has good coffee, but also a place for us to hear and understand more about the culture of the E De people. The shop named Arul is also the name of the shopkeeper. A lovely Ede woman builds up with the desire to introduce the culture of her ethnic people to the tourists.!

Welcoming us with affection, she told about the house of the Ede people, about two stairs in front of the house - a mother symbol, a symbol for her father. She tells a lot about the culture, about the life of the Ede people, and we recommend that you come here once and listen through that deep voice - you can feel the color. Highland culture through a prism is much closer.

In the afternoon, we were advised by a friend to visit Lak Lake, instead of choosing some famous and thoroughly exploited tourist spots. Even on the way, we were able to stop at a large and unexpected field in front of a blue stretch of peaceful sight.

As a wilderness resort, Lak lake is quiet and quiet, feeling as if only us in the middle of this mountain. Sit on a lonely boat, drop yourself on the water, listen to a piece of music and take your eyes away - see one side is sunny, one side is rainy At that time, I suddenly thought: I don't know if there will be a second time, will I be able to see this wonderful yet peaceful scenery?

One of the highlights of this trip is that we were able to see firsthand the gong culture of the E De people in Ako Ea area (Akõ Dhong, Buon Ma Thuot villages) - with the artist as the last artist class to beat gongs in the Tay Nguyen .

In the Tay Nguyen, gongs are the soul of culture, of life. Every family - even rich in color, must have gongs to be considered rich. There was one thing that kept us worried until the end of the trip, that was the worry of the Tay Nguyen people before the loss of gong culture which was a pride. The gong's performance team for us has more than a dozen people - all of them are old artisans, who are able to beat gongs in a skillful way, and young people are not really salty and have enough technology. A show of gongs, every artist receives is not worth it, but only about 2 - 3 times a month for tourists to spend money to listen to performances - so there is no good source of income. determined.

After learning about the story of the Ede people, we put on their traditional costumes and listened to gongs to welcome guests to the house, dancing with the village elders and then being invited to drink need. Even drinking alcohol requires special rules that surprise us. Drink well to show solidarity, often love each other - no cup, cup, cup, cup ... Everyone together to drink together, when the drinker drinks alcohol - the ink drops to the beginning of the branch The tree is part of me. When the wine is poured, how much is it to drink? Those who finish drinking and need to take care until someone else comes to drink will need it again, avoid letting go soon because it will lose solidarity. But we have been allowed to enjoy it, but we cannot drink it as usual because after a long day everyone is quite tired.

Day 2 ...
In the morning, we think is the best time in the Tay Nguyen. In the cold atmosphere of the highlands, we stretched our shoulders to take a long breath to make the chest full of cool, pleasant of a fresh early morning. Call a sloppy cup of silver, sit under the long roof of Ako Ea area, enjoy coffee and schedule a new day - truly a feeling we will never forget.

On this 2nd day, we devoted ourselves to visiting Dray Nur waterfall. This is the place that makes us feel passionately Tay Nguyen more than ten thousand times. Passing a long distance, not simple to arrive, we were rewarded not only with breathtaking scenery on both sides of the road, but also the majestic, ecstatic beauty of Dray Nur waterfall when We arrive.

The bubbles were white, the steam was flooded, making the scenery around the waterfall just as beautiful and poetic as a picture, as if a place was not real. Certainly, you must visit Dray Nur waterfall once in your life, to see how small you are before this magnificent, magnificent landscape.

Day 3 ...

We went to Gia Lai during the night, when we still had the problem of Buon Me Thuot with Draynur waterfall and the deep gongs of the E De people.

On the first day in Gia Lai, we chose to visit T'nung Lake, also known as Ho Lake. This is a freshwater lake located in the northwest of Pleiku city, Gia Lai province. This place is located on a flat topography plateau, about 500 m above sea level. This is a huge crater, full of water all year round and always green, so it is considered the Pearl of the Tay Nguyen.

Located on the north bank of the Great Lake, about 13 km from Pleiku and Gia Lai cities, tea hills were formed when the French were here about 20 centuries ago. We dropped by this place and at noon, strolling around the hills to take pictures and watch, chatting with the farmers here. Wandering among the immense, green tea hills in the golden sunshine of the plateau - is really a beautiful, peaceful and memorable afternoon, but perhaps I will never forget whether traveling to those any distant and magnificent land.

One of the funniest evenings on this journey is the evening of today! When we visited a shop called Bazan, we were able to set up a campfire, dance with JRai people. The shop of a teacher who teaches music, hires people from the village to come and play gongs and dance together on the fire. One evening was really memorable when we were immersed in the sound of the sacred, strong gongs, in the impressive peacock dance of the locals, in the screen of shaking hands, strong shoulders and full hips. mineral. When the fire was flared, it was time for the people and us to put our hands on, happy and united!

For the Tay Nguyen , gongs are the soul, people from birth to naming ceremony, growing up also have a health ceremony, and when the last breath, the gong sound is always closely followed. And for us, Vietnamese young people are passionate about exploring - partly to love gongs. So, when you come to a new land, you have to really immerse yourself in that place to feel the beauty not only of the scenery, but also of the culture and of the people. We, from strangers, were able to hold

And really, in that very moment, we felt the pride of the country, the culture, the people of Vietnam rising in the heart. Vietnam, why is it so full of surprises, these beautiful and colorful cultural colors are so beautiful!

Day 4...

We visited Kon Tum in the early morning of the trip. That morning, we spent the whole time visiting the Cathedral. The Cathedral of the Cathedral is called by people here intimately as a wooden church because this unique building is built entirely of wood, designed with classical Roman architecture combined with traditional stilt house architecture. Ba Na cell here.

After taking a photo and spending time studying at the church, visit Mang Den - this is called the 2nd Da Lat of the Tay Nguyen. Mang Mang is located at 1,200 m above sea level, temperate climate, cool all year round, average temperature of 16-20 degrees Celsius, surrounded by primeval forest. There are sentences that "happiness is not the destination but the way we go". Yes, in Mang Den we were completely captivated by the scenery on the road, with the vast rubber forests on either side, the green pine hills in the sun. The more you go, the smaller you see Vietnam, but it contains so many beautiful and lively angles.

Kon Klor suspension bridge is the last stop of the journey. Kon Klor suspension bridge is located in Kon Klor village, Kon Tum city, the most beautiful large industrial suspension bridge in the Central Highlands. From the bridge, you can clearly see the Dak Bla river rolling each water stream at the bottom of the bridge - a feeling that is both frightening and admiring the natural strength and wisdom of nature.

Thank you, Tay Nguyen, for embracing us with our arms, so that we can immerse ourselves in the wildness and majesty of the red land plateau, to travel through the warm cultural colors of the gong country. and to see how small I am before the greatness, beauty and wisdom of my country.

All these magnificent beauties, these unique cultural imprints, will forever exist - if our hearts take a genuine interest and respect. Visit the Tay Nguyen, not only to open your eyes, but also to let the singing in the campfire night, the gongs of the village people have more chances to be lifted up and resound later.
