WHY ONE SHOULD TRAVEL AFAR FROM HOME.

in #travel6 years ago (edited)

Helo to all my fellow steemians, friends and family. Yes I have family members here I introduced. So don't argue with me.
Anyway hope you've been good and great and still the same

It's now six(6) months and two(2) weeks since I left my home country, home continent and home everything to go and try out somewhere for a better future. As the saying goes "Young age works for the old age". So I didn't want to be an old beggar.

What I have learnt in this little time is worth millions of money we(mainly myself) why I was really struggling to make it.

I wish if I had these same mentalities back home, I wouldn't have bothered to leave. I've spoken with many big names here. Guys who do import from different countries, guys who owns TV stations here in Qatar. By the way I even met one of the sons of Paris Saint Germain (PSG) fc owner and he was free to give me just a little 2mins conversation after which he tipped me 500qar worth 520k ugshs.

These people take time as their best enemy. Whether you're the manager, minister or just a worker. The time to open the offices should find you already either around the building or near. You shouldn't be late past 10mins.

Now in my country, late coming is a must. You can even reach some big offices when the time at which occupants should be inside but when they haven't reached and signed in.

These people are doing what we call self support. Once a Qatari invents something and another person of a different nationality invents the same or another which is more important than the one of a Qatari, the support or investments will first go to the Qatari till he or she finishes up his or her project. This ain't the same with my African country.

These people characterised it as INVEST IN A QATARI TO SUPPORT QATARIZATION

The pic above I took it yesterday when Qatar had qualified through to the finals of the Asian Cup. It was their first time and the pyramid building you see across is called Sheraton Hotel. It offered free foods and drinks for that win in support of its national team. Me too I went and had my share.

I have alot to say but also long readings sometimes tend to bore.... So allow me to stop here. Thanx for reading by the way. Its my story.

It really takes a lot of guts to do what you've done, I myself have had a few opportunities to play soccer aboard when I was younger but I was too scared and opted for the safe route and stayed. its something I regret every day.

I hope that you continue to grow and don't let this be where the journey ends keep growing and moving and I wish you all the best

Interesting article about your great travel experience. I understand what it's like to move to a different part of the world as I lived abroad for many years.

Wow! Time is always valuable to rich and top business men. I have a brother there too!

Yeah, I agree with you that no supporting each other is one of the reasons why we are backwards (Africa).

When an African man is Rich, he invests in Europe, his children school in the US and whenever he and children finally die, the cops are brought back to Africa for burials XD
