Zlatibor
Zlatibor is a mountain and nature park in Serbia. It stretches along the northwest-southeast direction and occupies 1,000 km² of area.
It is one of the largest mountains of my country and the highest peak is at a height of 1500 m. It covers three municipalities, namely Čajetina, Užice and Nova Varoš, and his center is Čajetina.
Its borders are the Uvac and Veliki Rzav rivers, and in the west it borders with Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The nearest bigger town is Uzice and it is very important considering the important main roads and railroads that pass through this region.
Zlatibor is situated at an altitude of 1000 meters and belongs to the Dinaric mountains. Also, near the mountains, it is known for many fields and the hills that go down to the river, and then they lift up making a gorge.
All rivers flow into the Black Sea and the most famous are Uvac, Drina, Djetinja, Veliki Rzav and Moravica. Drinking waters are very good, they are considered to be the best in the country. From the lake the most famous is in Ribnica, as well as several lakes on Uvac that are artificial.
The climate of this area is moderately continental, the summer is warm and the winter is mild and it is characterized by rain and snow in some parts of the year.
Zlatibor is a significant tourist destination and is very visited.
This is the most famous place on Zlatibor, Zorina tavern. It is known for its many specialties, the most famous of which is a set of buns.

I've heard so much about Zlatibor. A friend of mine from Serbia goes there every year for skiing with her family.
I like this place that you showed us. It has a nice setting and traditional atmosphere. Those wooden sculptures are cute :)
Do you go there often? Or do you live somewhere close so that you can go there anytime you wish?
Have a nice weekend!
Thank you very much for such nice comment. I live about one hour from there and I go there one time in two months. My cousin live nearly Zlatibor and when I go there, I stop to visit this wonderful place. :)
Beautiful pictures 😊
Thank you very much, I'm glad you like it :)
