Once Upon A Time in Latin America (17) Easter Island. Iridescent clouds fly with Seagulls

The next attraction was Papa Vaka, which was just around the navel of the world. The Vaka stone carving group was the largest stone carving monument on Easter Island. Due to its exposure to the outside all year-round, many stone carvings were no longer clear. There were three main groups of stone carvings in the group: Papa mango, Papa Vaka, and Papa Mangai. Papa means stone caving, mango stands for whale, Vaka stands for the ship, and mangai stands for marine life. Today, the clearest and largest stone caving is papa vaka, which is about 12 meters long and shows marine life such as squid, crabs, etc.

I discerned the lines on the stone according to the signs, took some photos, then drove to the edge of the red cliff where was blue sky, blue sea, and colorful flowers. I watched the seagulls hover on the water and remembered the melody of "Iridescent clouds fly with the seagulls" which I listened to when I was a child. The free-range horses on the island carelessly galloped, which made the island more laziness.
