The Palazzo Pitti and the Boboli Gardens Florence, Italy
The Palazzo Pitti and the Boboli Gardens
Italy is one of the most tourist countries to which we can travel at any time. Florence, on the other hand, is one of the most beautiful cities that Italy has. For this reason, it has been used several times as a stage for many books and films. If we want to visit the most beautiful and tourist places we cannot forget the Pitti Palace, which is one of the most beautiful we, can get in Italy and one of the most Renaissance in Florence.

In its time, around the 19th century, the palace was used as a military base, by Napoleon Bonaparte as well as it served as the home of many and different kings of Italy.
It was at the beginning of the 20th century, when the palace was donated to the people of the city. Since then, its doors have been open to all the public and within it, we can get a lot of galleries in which we will see many works of art of all kinds.

Today we can get it as a museum where we will find different collections and galleries among which stand out: Palatine Gallery, Gallery of Modern Art, silver museum, the museum of carriages, among some others that are still impressive.
Behind the aforementioned palace, we can find the largest green area that exists in Florence, it is the Boboli gardens. UNESCO granted him the role of World Heritage a few years ago.

These gardens comprise a space of 45,000 square meters, so we can imagine its size. A person who wants to travel each and every one of the corners of the gardens would need, at least, walk at least 3 hours.

In these gardens, we can find everything. From the terrifying pergolas to the most beautiful statues, as well as different sources with figures of ancient greek divinities. It even has an Egyptian obelisk that is in the most visited areas of the gardens, for the same attraction of the obelisk. We can find the gardens open during all the months of the year, the only thing that varies is the schedule at work.
In short, if we want to see the best of Florence, we must visit both the palace and the gardens, both together, since we cannot visit one place and forget about the other since both are in the same space.
