Come and see the beautiful Trogir
Trogir is located on the island of the same name between the island of Čiovo and the mainland with which it is connected by stone bridge.
It is located in central Dalmatia 25 km west of Split. All the beauty stayed in only seven kilometers square. I recommend a tour with a professional guide to tell you a little more about the history of Trogir. I also recommend an out of season tour because it is a city full of tourists.
The city is full of small alleys and shrubs of historic monuments, as well as numerous masterpieces.
Trogir was founded in lll. Century BC. In Central Europe it was considered the best preserved Romanesque-Gothic city. The old part of the town of Trogir is listed on the UNESCO list of monuments of world cultural heritage. Now in the main season all the tears of life.
The offer is varied and everything is at your fingertips so you do not need public transport.
Small streets reveal the charms of this city, full of old churches, restaurants, souvenir shops, ... Near by are beautiful beaches, institutions, centers, ... At the end of the seafront there is Fort Kamerlengo which was built in 1420 and served Is to accommodate Venetian military crews.
In 1271, Trogir opened first pharmacy in Europe. It was part of the house near the cathedral and the city loggia. The original document confirms this in a private collection, and a copy in the Trogir Museum.
