My Boy In Dubai

My sister in the UK has complained that there are not enough pictures of my Robbie. He is very missed. We live near Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. He is also missed in the Philippines. Skype is not working here, so that makes us miss our families even more.

Robbie is a very sociable boy. He smiles and greets everyone. It makes me proud that he is like that. He has a big cheesy grin. He smiles at me when he wants my attention, and I smile back.

We went to Dubai on the 3rd and 4th December 2018. It is a cold day here (when I say cold I mean Dubai cold, not England cold). It is very rare to see cloud in Dubai. But the cooler weather helps us to tour the UAE this winter break.

He is happy to be on the beach and play with the sand. He spent ages just crawling around. He is only 15 months old, but many people who meet him think he is much older.

Eventually, he is able to sit with his Mummy, @sherylneil, and look at the sea.

This is a small park by Jumeirah Lakes Towers. It was midday when we arrived here. We ended up spending over an hour here, so that we can all eat and Robbie can play.

This was the day before (3rd January 2018). We are waiting at Al Rigga metro station. The platforms all look clean and modern.

This is the play area of Chowking by Salah Al Din metro station. It was a great place to play and it has given us ideas for his room at home.

That was our trip in Dubai. He enjoyed his holiday, but he was very happy when he got back home.

I know my family miss him so much. This is for them.
