A Korean traditional market in Busan.

A few days ago I went to a traditional market in Busan.
Whenever I go travelling, I usually visit to traditional markets.

Looking around traditional markets gives un better understaning of local life and culture,
so a traditional market is a mustgo for me.

Busan's traditional market has lots of things such as grain, fish, fruits,and etc.
Just looking at those things makes me happy.

↑There are many kinds of fruits. They are fresh and cheap.

↑They say more than 60 kinds of vegetables are grown in Korea. Vegetables are important ingredients in Korean dish, and lots of people buy vegetables in traditional markets.

↑Kimchi is one of the symbols of Korean culture though it is not a main dish.
There is a variety of dishes cooked with Kimchi. Kimchi stew(Kimchi-jjigae),
Kimchi pancake(Kimchi jeon), rice with stir-fried kimchi(Kimchi-bokkeum-bap) are my favorites.

↑Korean traditional pancake is one of the classic Korean foods. It is kind of pan-fried pancake with mung beans, kimchi, and pork, It's very delicious when you eat with Makgeolli(raw rice wine). It is very popular so that you can taste this food almost everywhere in Korea.

↑Tteokbokki is hot and spicy because it is a cooked rice cake dish with red-pepper paste. It is said to have appeared in 1950s for the first time, and to have been popular since 1970s. If you like hot and spicy food, just try it!
