Norvan Falls, B.C.,Canada - Photos (Part 2)

As @haileyscomet and I looked back and saw the crowds of people, we gave each other the look and both knew it would soon be time to go back because we both are not fans of big groups of people while hiking. At the same time, I realized that we hadn't taken pictures of Hailey so we rushed and took the photos you see below. I also realized that we hadn't taken a selfie of us two, and often I am never in any photos because I am always taking them, so I try to remember to take them when we can. As we did this and got a good one, a group of people came down to where we were and a girl offered to take our picture. Hailey said yes reluctantly, but I hate to have people take our photos because they always do an awful job! Anytime I have had someone use my camera it comes out unfocused and unusable and when they use our iPhone something goes wrong. In this case one of their friends rudely got behind us and in the way of the waterfalls, making the photos no good to my picky eye. Another case of why we just do it ourselves! But I did get a good photo of Hailey taking their photos as you will see below.

Even though we were slightly rushed to take the photos of Hailey(I mean we still sat down and had our lunch as I mentioned in the last one, so not too rushed), I think they turned out great. I got another shot of the river and then another one of the falls from the trees. I then got some two awesome photos of an old logging truck that had broken down and trees grew inside of the frame! So cool to see the tree conquer at least one of its logging enemies. The trail we were on was on old logging site and had a long, wooden road that had decayed for the most part, though some boards still remained all throughout the trail, we even went through old logging chutes. It was a very interest hike and so wild it is so close to the city! As I said before, Vancouver has it's parks on lock and do a great job with their stolen income via taxes. Theft, but at least they are doing something I guess lol.

Going back to logging though, it is truly sad seeing the huge giants that once were and are now just rotting nursing trees that yes are giving life to the new smaller trees, but to see what once was their magnificent size, to what it is now is so heartbreaking. We have come so far as a people but so much destruction has come it's place. Progress is coming, but will it come in time to save the beauty on this planet, I think so, but time will tell. For now I will do my best to see all that I can and raise awareness on the conditions we are leaving this in and trying to do something personally about it!
