Spectacular Panorama of Jatiluhur Reservoir: Mountain ox, Purwakarta
Purwakarta may not be our first choice to see the sights in West Java. But once set foot on the Mountain of the Ox, we will be made unnerved by the hidden beauty that is in his possession.
Although there are 3 other mountain peaks around the Jatiluhur Reservoir, but Mount Jatiluhur is the easiest to access. With a height of only 700 meters above sea level. But do not be careless, although the mountain is not too high, to conquer it takes effort and extra hard. Generally on the climber takes about 3 hours trekking to the top.
In the early journey alone, we are already faced with a very heavy field. The climbers have to walk through thick bamboo forests with a fairly steep slope of about 45 degrees. Therefore, we are advised not to climb ox Mount during the rainy season. Due to the muddy soil, it can make our journey heavier. However, all the efforts will be paid off when we have reached the mountain of the cow that presents a stunning panorama of Jatiluhur Reservoir and surrounding mountains.
