Green Impressions Of An Andalucian Pueblo

Today, I am sharing some images of the spanish Pueblo named Torrox.. It has been our 2nd home over the last 20 years. We keep on coming here to spend the winter months to escape cold winter in Central Europe.

Mandarines on a full laden tree along one of the streets of the pueblo. Such fruit bearing trees were planted namely for decoration. I was wondering whether anyone can pick them as they are just falling off the trees and nobody seems to care.

Torrox `s climate is milder by around 10°C compared to most of the EU countries. Many Scandinavians also spend their winter months here. The town has the patented slogan that says Torrox, mejor clima de Europa!( literally... Torrox, the best climate in Europe) which has an average temperatures around 18°C in the whole of Europe based on a study of a weather surveying british company.

It doesn´t really matter whether you own an apartment along the coast or a rural property you called your own. Of course, a rural property has more work and needs maintenance, but it is also quiet and therefore for the peace -seekers who wanted the quietness in secluded area, they buy a country property.

The spaniards are fond of decorating their front house with flowers, everywhere you go there are pots full of flowering plants in vivid colors. Where there is free space, you bet there isn´t one pot but more.
