Gorgeous building. Regal. Imperial.

This building speaks of majesty, the kind of place where you will feel like a royal - afternoon teatime, stunning headpieces, carriage horses. Impressive architectural treasure. The moment I lay my eyes on it, I was charmed. I found my building crush!

The British Columbia Parliament Buildings are located in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada and are home to the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia. Wikipedia

This parliament building was built in 1859 and was nicknamed as "The Birdcages" because of the shape.

I completely adore the bellcast roof's sophisticated teal color. There is a free tour inside the building to all interested with the history the place but I didn't go in and just wandered outside looking at the sculptures and carvings of this ornate building. Really impressive, I must say.

In front of the building is a fountain great for a photo op.

The sunshine behind the building creates an adorable effect when a photo was captured in front of the running water fountain.

The carriage pulled by a horse reminded me of Princess Sarah.

The Empress is one of the oldest and most famous hotels in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. Located on Government Street facing the Inner Harbour, the Empress has become an iconic symbol for the city itself. It has been designated a National Historic Site of Canada due to its national significance. Wikipedia

If there is one landmark that I would visit again, it would definitely be The Parliament Building in Victoria Island.
