Trails: Costão de Itacoatiara - Rio de Janeiro/Brazil

The trail begins with thick woods, and is steep at all times. We walked about 15 minutes (going up) and soon arrived in a courtyard, with three bifurcations. There, you opt for the trails that go to the Pedra do Elefante (Elephant's Stone), Enseada do Bananal (Bananal Cove) and Costão.
When you reach the top of the Costão de Itacoatiara Trail you will have a breathtaking view of the beaches of Itacoatiara, Camboinhas, Itaipu and Piratininga.
