Calgary Downton // Candation D-1

G'morning, travelers!

Today's first post is a quickie: as we landed yesterday here in Calgary, we were all really tired and excited at the same time. We had a wonderful Christmas lunch made by J, followed by the annual embarrassing moment of standing while people sing 'Happy Birthday' to you (but that I was very grateful for <3) and went off to get to know the city after.

Usual jet lag and travel tiredness, together with unexpected chaotic events along the day, got me to exhausted to be able to write yesterday night. We're now having breakfast at the delicious Tim Hortons, ready for another day!

My original plan was to put my photo with the birthday cake balloons as the header image, but I prefered to put this beautiful photo I took of the Downtown Buildings from a far. I also don't want to spam the blockchain even more with my birthday, however I must register how special of a day it was. I hope your day is marvelous there, traveler
