Nethelands: Amsterdam, Delft, Volendam, Monnickendam, Zaandam

It was my first time in Netherlands and I fell in love with the county ( the weather sucks by the way even during the summer).
I have traveled from Amsterdam to small villages and learned their history and culture.

Delft is a small city not that far from Amsterdam. It is well known for the Delft pottery ceramic products which were styled on the imported Chinese porcelain of the 17th century. The city had an early start in this area since it was a home port of the Dutch East India Company)

As u can see small windows and doors on the first level of the building; this is where boats were bringing goods and products and on another side of the building they had market where people were selling it

This is the main square which full of small pottery ceramic shops, restaurants and cafes

It was important for me to visit Zaandam, because it is the place where Peter the Great stayed for sometime when he was living and studying shipbuilding in Holland.

Zaandam itself is nice charming town

I will definitely come back to Netherlands again, and I recommend everyone to visit it at least once. Trust me you won't be disappointed.
