The most beautiful Waterfalls
Seljalandsfoss waterfall, Islanda
This place impresses through landscapes. The Seljalansfoss Waterfall rises among the serene cliffs, making spectacular Icelandic countryside. The waterfall measures about 60 meters in height and has adventure tours that offer the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of this waterfall and its surroundings. These trails are in stages, making the road less difficult, but you must take great care of them because they can be wet, slippery or covered with ice. To get to the cascade, you'll have to drive on Selfoss Road 1. Approximately 20 kilometers after passing Hvolsvollur, you will have to exit Road 1 and continue on Road 249 to Porsmork. The waterfall is immediately after you get out of a roundabout; if it's a beautiful weather, you'll still be able to spot it on Road 1.
Plitvice, Croatia
In the mountainous part of Croatia is Plitvice National Park. This reservation is a protected area measuring about 296 square kilometers. Relief is extremely diversified- rocks, forests, lakes, rivers, waterfalls and underground caves. In 1979 the park was added to the list of UNESCO-protected sites, due to the specific flora and rocks. In addition to the other hydrographic elements, there are two important waterfalls: Veliki Slap (about 78 meters high) and Galovacki Buk (25 meters tall). The area has an important historic significance, being the venue of the Ottoman Wars in which Croatia opposed resistance. Today, the park is seen as the most important element of Croatian tourism. To get to Plitvice National Park you have to take a bus that starts from Zagreb (the station is near the National Airport). Several hotels have contracts with transport companies that make the route to the park for the guests of the hotel.
"I always had a philosophy which I got from my father. He used to say, 'Listen. God gave to you the gift to play football. This is your gift from God. If you take care of your health, if you are in good shape all the time, with your gift from God no one will stop you, but you must be prepared.
