Photos from Expo Milan 2015 - Part two
(Here's the first part https://steemit.com/travel/@marycar5/photos-from-expo-milan-2015-part-one )
I'll go on showing you the pavillion I've seen during my trip in Milan two years ago, in the Expo exhibition, where food and cultures from all over the world met together in this amazing city.
The pavillion I liked most was the Austrian one. It represented the green reserve the country got. It was a little forest re-created in a big place full of buildings. It wanted to give us the idea of the austrian landing and all the oxygen that its trees produce.
Here's some of the photos I took there.
To enter the brazilian one you had to walk on an elastic web, it was such fun!
In the Russian pavillion there was a science lab with huge amazing periodic table, to honour the scientist Mendeleev, who discovered it.
and there were some nice matrioskas too!
I visited about thirty pavillions in one day. Some of them were so amazing that I couldn't take photos, I prefered enjoying the moment I was living, so I took only photos on the outside. Here's some random pavillions that I didn't catch inside.
!
In the end, here's the Tree of life, a giant tree built at the centre of the place, that lighted up each hour. It was such a fantastic show to see!
Looks like an interesting place, the elastic web sounds like it would be pretty cool.
Yeah, it actually was!
Upvote - I was on exhibition too. Austrian, Russian and Belgian pavilions was very interesting, because they show something but shops and food. Pavilion of Ecuador and Brasil were interesting too but I remember mainly giant queue. Vietnamese was one of the worst. I see you show Polish pavilion, what were your impressions?
Polish pavilion was beautiful, but not one of my favourites.
Was nice the message of hope it tried to give.
I didn't found queues because I was there on the first week, there were few people. I was able to visit the japanese one too. It was the most beautiful!
